As you might have read HERE, I am changing up my blog design again. But this time- you’re coming along with me!

First up--- BACKGROUND

Well, one of the HARDEST things for me is to find a color scheme that I like and that will fit me & my blog well. So, usually I search some of my favorite clipart designers shops to see if any of their digital backgrounds give me that “WOW, that is it!” feeling. This time, none did… so, off to Etsy I went. Searched digital paper and digital background and FINALLY came up with what I was looking for. *Sidenote: I am SUPER picky and a little border line OCD, so sometimes it takes me hours to find just what I want.

Next, I had to decide which of the papers in the paper pack I wanted to use for my background…choices,choices,choices. I finally settled on one, now we can get started!
Just a little FYI: I use Photoshop. I know many people don’t use or have Photoshop. But, I simply do not know how to do it any other way! I will say that at first Photoshop was INTIMIDATING! But, with a little practice you can become a pro at the basics!
Lets go step-by-step:
1. Open the Photoshop program
2. File>Open – then choose your background paper.
3. Image>Image Size – change the resolution to 72 (yes, this will make the image tiny on the screen)
4. File>Save for the Web & Devices>Click ‘OK’.

5. Open up your Blogger Dashboard.
6. Go to Template>Customize>Background
7. Click the down arrow & choose ‘Upload File’

8. Choose your background paper file that you edited in Photoshop.
9. WALLAH!

Not too hard… huh?
